Reading: We have begun our read aloud, Counting on Grace. This is a great story about the Child Labor Laws in America in the early part of the 1900's. This will also help students preview content taught in Social Studies. We will be reviewing theme, character traits, and others skills that have already been taught this school year. Students will also be given constructed response questions that they will have to answer. This will help prepare them for the Milestone test that begins in April.
ELA: We will continue to work on constructed and extended responses.
Milestone Testing Dates: Please mark your calendars!! Here are the 5th Grade Testing dates for the Milestone. It is imperative that your child be here and on time each day of testing. Remember ALL testing will be done on the computer. Make sure your child is practicing their keyboarding skills at home.
