Milestones Testing will begin Thursday, April 14th for the 5th grade. Please remind your child to focus in class and to always give their best effort.
STEM Opportunity for your child:
Math
Classwork: We are working on the Geometry and volume Unit, We will take the summatives for measurement conversions and the Geometry and Volume Units after Milestone Testing is complete.
Homework: When you see the cc written in your child's agenda, it usually means they should finish the page we were working on during class. If they do not have a page with unanswered problems, they have probably finished what they needed to. Students have a printed handout of their work. All student should scan on the 4th school day after receiving an assignment. Students should easily be able to complete their homework in 20 minutes.
Science
Classwork: We will continue the electricity unit this week.
Homework: Please have your child set aside approximately 10 minutes each night to review the completed pages in the Electricity Packet.
Social Studies
Classwork: We have completed the WWII packet. The SUMATIVE Test will be early next week.
Homework: Please have your child set aside approximately 10 minutes each night to review the completed pages in their packets.
