This Week in Math, Social Studies, and Science

 

I will be at a Teacher's Forum on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

 

Please remind your students to be sure that they pack their book-bags every night so they do not forget their agendas and assignments. 

 

Please remember that students are given the option of asking for a Summative re-test when they feel they are ready.

 

Math:

Classwork: We will continue to work on fractions. Please make sure that your child is able to change  back and forth from improper fractions and mixed numbers as well as simplify fractions.

Homework: Students are to complete 8 Accelerated math problems and any classwork that they were not able to finish at school. 

 

Social Studies:

Homework: We have completed the Civil War Unit. Students who made below an 80 were given a study packet to complete to prepare them for the re-test which will be available next week. Please have your child bring the completed study guide to make sure they have the correct information to study.

 

Science:

Classwork: We will continue to work on the Cell and Microorganisms Unit this week.

 

Homework: Study the parts of the microscope, cell information, and your vocabulary words every night. Quiz Friday.
