This Week in Math, Social Studies, and Science

 

 

Please remind your students to be sure that they pack their bookbags every night so they do not forget their agendas and assignments. 

 

Quizlets for Math, Science, and Social Studies will now be listed on the right of the blog so that students can easily find them.

 

Math:

Classwork: We will complete the work on Algebra concepts this week. The SUMMATIVE TEST over these concepts will be Thursday.

Homework: Students are to complete 8 Accelerated math problems and any classwork that they were not able to finish at school. The division SUMMATIVE RE-TESTs  will continue to be given this week.

 

Social Studies:

Homework: We have completed the Civil War Unit. Students who made below an 80 were given a study packet to complete to prepare them for the re-test which will be available next week. Please have your child bring the completed study guide to make sure they have the correct information to study.

 

Science:

Classwork: How to use the microscope will be introduced this week. Students who have access to a pond are asked to bring in samples of pond water in plastic jugs.

 

Homework: Study the parts of the microscope and your vocabulary words every night. Quiz Friday.
