End of the Year Dates to Remember

I cannot believe we are talking about the end of the school year.  Three weeks from today your child will no longer attend OCES!  They will officially be a middle schooler.  Here are some dates to remember for the end of the year:

• Tuesday, May 5th is Move Up Day.  Students who are attending MBMS need to remember to return their permission slips.  You will also be receiving more information about a Parent Night in your child's Friday Folder this week.
• Thursday, May 14th is Yearbook Signing day.  Students will be signing each other's yearbooks during Activity.
• Friday, May 15th is Field Day!  This is a great day and is so much fun!  Mrs. Morrell does such a wonderful job creating a great day for the kids at OCES.  Remember if you would like your child to purchase a snack they will need to buy a $5.00 wristband.  NO SANDALS that day!  Students can bring a towel, extra change of clothes, sunscreen, and water bottle.  
• Monday, May 18th is Apollo 13 Day.  Please see your child's Friday Folder for a permission slip since this movie is rated PG.  This is a great movie that goes a long with the last part of our Social Studies curriculum.  
• Tuesday, May 19th is 5th Grade Awards Day and 5th Grade Cookout!  Check your child's Friday Folder for more details!
• Wednesday, May 20th is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!  WAHOO!
