This Week in Math and Social Studies

 

Please remind your students to be sure that they pack their bookbags every night so they do not forget their agendas and assignments.

 

 

Math:

Classwork: We will continue working with multiplication of whole numbers by powers of 10  and then 3 digit by 2 digit. By Wednesday we will begin working on division of whole numbers.

 Homework: Students are to complete 8 Accelerated math problems and any classwork that they were not able to finish at school.

 

Social Studies:

Classwork: We will complete the Bill of Rights and the responsibilities of citizens unit - Test Wednesday. The next unit will be the Civil War.

 

Homework: Students should use the information in their binders and textbook (Chapter 4 beginning Thursday)  to study about 10 minutes every night.
