Just a few quick reminders:
- Our Cultural Arts Night is Tuesday, March 10th. Mrs. Kimbell's homeroom is still collecting items for our basket to be auctioned off. Our theme is a day at the beach. We only have a few items. Please send any items or money that could help pay for items.
- Friday, March 13th: Teacher Workday - No School for Students
- April 6-10th: Oconee County Spring Break
- Thursday, April 23: ELA/Reading Milestone: Section I and II
- Friday, April 24: ELA/Reading Milestone: Section III
- Monday, April 27: Math Milestone
- Tuesday, April 28: Science Milestone
- Wednesday, April 29: Social Studies Milestone
ELA: We will continue working on constructed and extended responses. An extended response will be a 90 minute writing prompt. The student will have to make a plan, type their response, and edit/revise their writing piece. It is so important for your child to be at school so they can get the instruction for these types of Milestone questions.
Reading: We will finish Counting on Grace this week. This has been a great way for the students to learn more about the child labor laws of the 1900's. The last day for AR points for this nine weeks is Thursday, March 12.
